Hiya M. Some ideas about what could go in a Death Entry Update/Rewrite.

Well here goes. Death is all well and good, but don't forget about bereavement.

Dieing with dignity (a nursing issue, one thumped into me at med school).

Where does one 'go' when dead. Heaven? Hell? Another Body? The Mall?

Near death experiences.

Death and illness (terminal or sudden).

Festivals about Death like 'The Day of the Dead' or even Halloween to some extent.

Goths (A473924).

Artisitic fascination with the subject. eg: Emily Dickinson, Edgar Allen Poe, Shelley (both Percy and Mary), Blake, Dali, various musicians (Leonard Cohen springs to mind) etc. etc.

Resurrection/Immortality (Frankenstein and Vampires might be incorporated, maybe even Zombies and the Voodoo).

Depictions of Death (eg: The Grim Reaper (A839045), The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse)

The Sandman and his sister Death (A188606)

Famous deaths (eg; musicians like Jimi H. Jim Morrison, K. Cobain, then amusing last words, like Nelsons "Kiss Me Hardy" or King George the somethings "Bugger Bognor".)

Death and Humour (we do tend to make light of ol' death. Just look at the Meaning of Life by the Python boys and Pratchett's 'Mort'.)

Um, that's just off the top of me head, let me sleep on it a bit and I'll see what else I can come up with

Yup, although not with enough effort, sadly. If you have the interest and motivation to take a stab at it, feel free! Otherwise, I will probably get to it once my PhD is done -- so a few more months out.
