Hi, Mikey!
Great entry! One quick question: should we include a definition of 'footwork', or do you think that the term is self-explanatory?

Hmmm..... to me it's self-explanatory, but then I know what it means, so it would be. What do you think?
I'm not even sure how I would define it in words for people who don't know what it looks like -- maybe something like "an intricate pattern of steps and turns, ideally executed with great speed and precision" ???

I'm not much help: I skate, so I know what it means, too. And people who watch figure skating probably do as well. It's all the rest...
I like your definition. Emphasising 'speed and precision' should give the average reader a hint as to why footwork would make a jump even more difficult, which was your point. More information is probably better than less, so I'll put the definition in a footnote.
I'll finish editing this weekend - there wasn't much to do beyond capitalising some words and adding BBC links - and I'll let you know when it's done so that you can have a last look before the entry goes to the editors.
