Unfortunately, facts do very little good in response to people who refuse to accept anything outside of their own preconceived notions. Last I checked the thread, it seemed to be mostly people who either fell into that category, or seemed well aware of the misinformation I spoke of.

I can pretty much always find time to discuss facts and theories with people who want to know them, but I don't have the energy this week to throw them at people who don't care for them.

I posted the title of that book in the hopes that it would speak to those who prefer personal anecdote as well as those who would like some more objective information, as the book does an excellent job of combining both so that they can provide context for each other.

Fair enough.
