h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Me has been having trouble with my computer for several weeks now... silly thing... a man from PC World is coming out tonight to yet again take a look at whats wrong... this will be his third visit... ~grin~... me is a little anxious that this time he might depart with my darling computer clutched under his arm...

If me disappears again frmo H2G2... it will be from lack of internet access... hell... lack of computer access is more like it... so remember folks...

Can't you persuade the nice man to lend you another machine if he takes yours away? You could try not letting him out of the house!

When I had no access this time last year I was a regular visitor to my local library. It's what you pay your rates for after all! Just remember to log out from h2g2 or anyone could pretend to be you.

The man didn't take my computer away... he fixed it... but it still doesn't work properly... he's ringing today to check on it... hasn't rung yet... ~big grin~... could be something to do with me being on the computer...

The sad news is, you'll hardly see me round here much from now on. I have full time work which really is /full/ time, and no playing on the computer. But everytime I can, I'll leave a for you. What else would GAS' 100th member do?

I wondered where you had got to, the Gremlins are every where. Being mostly motherless they love to congregate on someones mother-board, snuggle up to any available heat sink and snore ultrasonically which plays havoc with the i/0.

Gremlins are terrible things... me is on first name terms with the man who comes to fix my computer now... he is here so often... ~sad grin~... the unfortunate thing is that they always replace the same thing... we've had four different cd/dvd drives... and none of them work properly... Stooby is seriously thinking of taking the whole lot back to PC World.. and ask for a new one...
