But back to fire - if you light my carpet on fire, it burns green. It's very pretty.

My personal favorite wood for fire is apple. It has a clean smelling smoke. (Oxymoron I know, but I *am* the Voice of Chaos!)

Ah applewood. It will also grill up the best-tasting steaks you have ever eaten! We had a tree that blew down once. It left a stump about 4 foot high, though, and rather than pull we decided to burn it. Of course, it would have been a shame to just waste that fire, so we grabbed the Hibatchi racks and some good steaks and .. all I can say is MMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
