I really wonder how *anything* can possibly be Off topic in a newspaper/magazine.

I asked the moderators to *read* the article.

Erring on the side of caution because it relates to the election, I suppose. I'm sure it will be reinstated soon enough.

But the elections were nearly two weeks ago. This is ridiculous to remove an article without having actually read it.

I thought everything was finally settled in that election? Shouldn't it be discussable now?

Is there any court action pending? That would explain it.

But it isn't about the political side of the elections. It just says how they're done technically.

Ahem. Bel, could you try to post a comment on Mol's entry? Elektra and I can't seem to do it.

I guess that must be because the eds made it visible again, but technically, it obviously still has the 'removed' status. It is a shame that people can't comment there, because it is such a fantastic article.

It just seems odd, they are treating it like it was the National Secrets Act was being violated.

Yes, and it will make people think there is something wrong. (I only checked because Elektra tried it and was worried.)
