This is a problum that has been eating at me for some time. have you ever been at a school that had a computer system, but the teachers are vastly underqulified to use them? The main affect of their ignorance is that they are very paranoid whenever a student is on the computer. This may stem from the idea that people fear what they do not understand. while this is a very annoying charecteristic amoung teachers, it can be easyly fixed.
The simplist plan that i have come up with is to train the teachers on how to use the computers, but apperently our school has tried this, and many of the teachers are so far gone that no ammount of education would help.
I have come up with another plan that borderes along the lines of, all new teachers must take and PASS a computer literacy exam before getting a job. this will be a slow process, but in the next centuri, it will painlessly rid the school systems of comp. iliteriate people.
These have been just a couple of my ideas on how to purge ignorance from the school system. Feel free to add your thoughts. if anything my plans are flexiable, and i am allways looking for advice.
