Ahhhh the lovely weekend. Sitting around doing nothing. I'm really looking forward to it. After that, I've got a nice short week (no deadline!) and then a short break to relax before gearing up for Christmas. Oh what a hard life!
What are your plans for the weekend?

Nothing in particular, really. We're going to have a X-mas-party at work later on. Then I'll go home to Stuttgart for the weekend and maybe meet afriend whom I haven't seen for - let me think - gosh! almost 5 years. Basically I guess I will just have an relaxed weekend.
What about you then?

Hello.
I'm back again. Managed to hit my deadline (hence no postings) but only just. Hope your Christmas party went with a bang and that you've spent all weekend recovering.

Congrats! Hope you can have a bit of a relaxed time now.
My weekend was fine, the X-mas party wasn't too exciting but I went to a greenhouse party on Saturday and that was quite a wild thing...It took actually place in an old greenhouse with a big fire outside, 5 punk bands performing, lots of flying toilet paper and stuff like that...well (and of course there was a lot of dope around, too...I guess that's just the way it is on such events) - anyway we had quite some fun...
What about you? I hope you didn't have to work all weekend long!?

The weekend was quite good actually. A greenhouse party sounds like a great idea, although the opportunity for falling drunkenly through plates of glass would slightly worry me. We are talking about the same type of greenhouse are we?

As long as you talk about those greenhouses where you would usually grow plants, yep we do.
It is actually a very nice thing, nice atmosphere, also with the fire. I wasn't worried too much about the glass but about people using a swing infront of the bands, that looked really dangerous as they went very, very high...
We once had a party next to a motorway and suddenly some drunk guys started running over the motorway. That was really horrifying

Sounds scary! I've just been to the pub for a post-mag drink, which was very nice indeed.

Well, I guess post-mag drinks belong to the best part of that job!?
I guess I'm off for lunch now (which will hopefully turn out to be better than yesterday's)
