Galaxy Babe - eclectic editor Posted Feb 19, 2006
Hi Flame, was that your first account?
We're wondering why it has an edited date of 1999, unless there was a previous entry on dreams, which the editors decided wasn't as good as yours, so they were amalgamated, but that doesn't explain why the original author isn't credited

I had my original id removed. (User 645857) You only have to look at the entry to see that it was written by researcher 645857. That number does not belong to Atlantic Cable - it is my old id number.
There was a previous entry on dreams. I wrote this one not knowing this - but the editors decided to use it anyway.
Thanks

Lord Job Boron. That's Lord Job Boron To You! Posted May 6, 2006
My friend and ex-co-worker has been having a reccuring dream recently in which from what I seem to remember I am chasing her through a graveyard (in a playful way) and I think I catch her and start tickling her. She wakes up shaking and often crying. Can anyone offer any interpretation and would it help if I said I lean towards a gothier nature? We also don't see each other very much any more since I left that job.
By the way, the possibility of a secret attraction has already crossed both our minds before anyone makes any wise comments.

Flame, thank you for the article it was just the sort of question that I could hope ask on a day off and get a through answer for.
Still disecting my dreams but over all I like them, rarely have nightmares but do have scarey dreams, but thats just what they are, scarey and resolvable, sometimes in a vaguely satisfactory way, nevertheless resolvable. That's definatly helpful and there is the bonus of the nice dreams and the ones that's are just funny
What I don't understand is random people that just tip up in my dreams and they do quite coherently...

Hello Peanut,
I tend to think about my dreams in a more symbolic way. For example a house could represent myself, a car might be telling me about my journey through life at that particular time, and an animal might be representing my instincts about a situation.
If I dream about a person, for example my mother or my sister – the dream could just be representing the more feminine aspects of myself, rather than about them. And if there are male figures in my dreams they might reflect the masculine aspects.
So I tend to look for the symbolic meanings. And probably the most important question to ask yourself about a dream is – How did it make me feel?
If you keep a dream diary you might eventually be able to work out what you dreams are trying to tell you.
But it’s all interesting stuff isn’t it?

I love my dreams, mostly, there has been the odd one I could rather do without.
I'm not sure on how analyse my dreams in terms how I feel.
In my dreams I feel, think and do a number of things. Sometimes when I wake up, I may fleetly experience the last emotion or sometimes action that's occured in my dream. That's generally followed by a smile and I'll relax into a mini loll while recounting. I feel like I have a decent nights sleep and been read a good book at the same, great start to any day. These can hotch-potch dreams or I have a couple (ok about four) of old familars, returning dream places with different characters. In terms of dreamtime the latter can be few chapters....
Still I'm very stuck on what's meaningful and how, I don't see dreams as superfical but rarely symbolic as such barring one, periodic recurring anxiety dream, which in itself is kinda sootheing
Sorry long post
