As you may or may not have noticed, I am of the general opinion that Life sucks, most of the time anyway. And as always, Life has its own strange way of backing me up. This time, of course, it is the h2g2 server, refusing to acknowledge my membership. Thankfully, most of the h2g2 staff seem to agree with my point of view upon Life, and they seem to have anticipated this most clever trick from the server. So the process of re-registering actually didn't take more than a minute or two.
So, as usual, h2g2: thanks. And Life: Up yours!
