Job Hunting
K'lara Started conversation Oct 19, 1999
You know, for the last month or so I've been searching for a new job. Between the interviews in places that are truly frightening, and interviewers who could easily fit into the Little Shop of Horrors, I'm exhausted, frankly. What I'm wondering is this. Why are psych profiles so important to some companies. I mean, I was asked in an interview today what the last book I read was. Honestly, I can't understand the importance of such a question. Could someone explain this to me?

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
