Chances are, even if someone believes that they have never played a role playing game, they actually have.
Anyone who has ever, when they were a child, played "Cops and Robbers", "Cowboys and Indians", or even "House", have participated in a role playing game. Granted, such childhood games are the most rudimentary of Role Playing Games, and are largely unstructured, as are the modern version, but nonetheless they are Role Playing Games. And you know what?! They were a whole lot of fun too!
