Is this where I'm supposed to put my contribution to this topic? Here goes anyway - not an error message, but the message before logging on to potentially sensitive system at my (previous) place of 'work' said something along the lines of "Unauthorized use of this machine is prohibited". Why not just say if you're not allowed to use it, you're not allowed to use it. Oh well, made me chuckle.

I'm only guessing here bu you may have been working for a secret government agency with spy cameras install inside the PC to check who is logging on. I wouldn't go back there unless you change your identity

No-one knows my true identity. I could tell you but the inevitable killing would have to follow. I believe it must have been an organization fronting a highly tuned secret operation - it's the only plausable explanation for the incompetent, inefficient impression. And the personnel they employed...
