You asked me 'why Cakewalker?' at the meet and I meant to reciprocate, but kinda forgot , but now I know Clangers are cool - I went to a Neil Finn concert the other month, and a bunch of people on the front row of the hall put a possy (do clangers hang around in possies?) on his monitor, along with a note. He ended up jamming with them

Yep. He picked one up, read the note over the mike, held the clanger to the mike and squeezed it making this 'woooo hoo hoo' sound. After the audience stopped laughing you could here the bunch of people sitting at the front whistling. It was a good concert

Sounds like fun. but fun.
Neil Finn as in Crowded House yeah? Or was that Tim Finn, or both? Wish I had a memory.

Yep, Neil Finn as in Crowded House. Admittedly, the songs that got the best response from the audience were the Crowded House ones, rather than his solo stuff. His solo stuff is good, but the Crowded House ones are superb.

Yes, I saw them play the Fleadh a few years ago and they were pretty darn good. Also saw Tim Finn (he was in Crowded House too wasn't he?)play in a little band called ALT with Andy White and Liam O'Manlai from Hothouse Flowers. Thoroughly impressive musicians all three of them.

I once went to a Hot Chocolate concert, and was thoroughly impressed with the way Errol Brown managed to get into the trousers that he was wearing!!

Did he do an on-stage un-strip, then? (has anyone reading this seen The Full Monty?)

Has anyone reading this NOT seen the Full Monty!?
Yes I see what you mean about the "un-strip".. 'though obviously what I really meant was .. how the heck did he get into those trousers without doing himself a serious injury?
Key: Complain about this post
