Did you buy it for Christmas? Or do you like tinkling as you walk?

BTW I just read this wonderful passage aobut you...
"
Greebo shot past Agnes, accelerating. And then, just as he was about to spring, he chnaged his mind. All four feet extended their claws at the same time and bit into the floorboards. He rolled, sprang onto his feet, and started to wash himself.

...
'but what can they do?' said Magrat.
'Well... Greebo's frightened of 'em,' said Nanny.
Greebo was two worried eyes, on eyellow, one pearly white, in the shadows. The witches were impressed. Greebo had once brought down an elk. There was practically nothing that he wouldn't atack, including architecture.

of course you may ask
I'm not sure that I can answer though
Hats are a part of me
I have been wearing them for so long
I like floppy ones that half cover my face and under which I peer out
I like warm ones that cover my ears and keep me warm in the wind
I like ones that keep the sun out of my eyes
I like ones people comment on
I hide under them
but am noticed due to them
the question is about a part of me that is so much me that I cannot think about it separately to me and so cannot answer your question to my satisifaction.

I'm the opposite, I only have one hat. And it only gets worn if its exceptionally windy (I've got longish hair that flaps about annoyingly) or if it is raining. Its a black wooly one with Chef from Southpark on the front.

my cat liked my hats
she used to play with them
but not savage them
she liked the way she could bat them off my head as if they were not a part of me.
she then usually slept on my big one that i don't wear anymore as I am allergic to cat hair
