I've had a very damp Christmas - it never snows on the Isle of Wight. But after a week away I'm back in Southampton for a couple dof days - where it has snowed of all things! - and then I'm back to the Island again.

Been mid to high 30s here until today - i've had to drink large ammounts of amber fluid to ensure i did not get dehydrated

Actually I've started to wonder a bit about that myself; is it such a good idea - habitation this far north?
It must have seemed like a good idea at one point in history or other..

I've never had a White Christmas - it doesn't snow on the Isle of Wight...
But you have to have a few people living that far north, otherwise the rest of the world would be too crowded.
