Hi BluesSlider, and thank-you Menza.
I've been reading most of the afternoon and bemoaning the New England gloom we call "spring."
Distracted, BluesSlider? Musicians are supposed to multi-task very well

Menza Posted Apr 4, 2000
Gloom sounds about right for Old England too, it spent most of today snowing!!!

BluesSlider Posted Apr 4, 2000
Sadly, dear lady I fear you may have identified the flaw in my character which has prevented me from becoming a world renowned musician, I cannot play and chew gum Sounds like New England spring is remarkably like Old England spring.

BluesSlider Posted Apr 4, 2000
OK, so by the time you've symlposted it doesn't sound quite so original, alternatively, great minds think alike Anyway, this geezer on a spring is trying to give me a message...see you l8r
c|_| part 19
Menza Posted Apr 4, 2000
That would be the "Boing....Time for bed" message. Goodnight BS

PostMuse Posted Apr 4, 2000
Well, BluesSlider, since I have touch upon a sore spot, I will confess that the flaw in my character which has prevented me from becoming a world renowned dancer--I get my left and right mixed up quite often. Makes for a very frustrated choreographer
Snow, Menza? That *is* a cruel spring!

Good dreams
Latest bit of coursework - designing an urban square in Dublin and putting a building in it. I had hoped to get the plans of the building finished tonight. I've got as far as deciding on it's shape... Looking on the Net for some inspiration - the books I've got don't seem to have any parallel with the type of building we're supposed to come up with (an odd hybrid of a beast containing an exhibition space, creche, cafe, meeting space, offices, shops and apartments).

Not really, I've been in side in the warm all day. And after it lands its just turns to slush anyway. It was fun when my sister came home though, she looked like a drowned rat.
Sorry to hear about the w**k CW, but you must know by now that the best ideas come at 2am.
c|_| part 19
PostMuse Posted Apr 4, 2000
At 2am even if the ideas aren't the best, they sure look it.
Here's to you, Cakewalker. May the Sandman be kept at bay.

Sorry Zmrzlina, I was indulging myself in an obscure reference with my fellow Brit. barman.
See the Magic Roundabout entry in http://www.h2g2.com/A246241
At the end of each episode Zebedee would appear and the narrator would say 'Boing (pronounced boyng)....Time for bed, said Zebedee'

*walks in with headscarf on and bucket and mop. Lah-lah's around with feather duster and vaccuum cleaner and gives the windows a quick wipe. Sings*
#Spring is in the air#
*As nobody can see, pours large , , , \_________/ and has a bag of scratchin's. Walks out.*
