It was a great laugh. Have you read the Virtual Blues page? That's my favourite thing here at present.

Hi everyone! And thanks for the kind words about my "Post" column, Bumblebee! I've just had another review posted on Music365, so all in all I think that calls for s all round!

Cheers! |_b
Music365 have also sent me a list of March album releases with a request to pick out ones I'd like to review. The same list goes to all their contributors, and it's a case of first come, first served as to who gets to do them. You're limited to three a week so no-one gets too greedy.
I've picked a few that I'd expect to enjoy listening to, and one or two others that I think might be (cackles evilly) fun to write about.
A new Vengaboys album! Let me at it!! MWHAHAHA!!!

I am involved in an exciting new project that got the go ahead on saturday at an important meeting I had to prepare for (hence all last week v busy)
and my phd model is finally running!!! (it used to crash at 1min20secs and has now run ofr over 100 hours!!!)

AEndr, The Mad Hatter Posted Feb 28, 2000
how's physics with you?

J'au-æmne Posted Feb 28, 2000
I wasn't amused to get a 300% margin of error on my last practical.... I think I need to do some *serious* work on that one!

AEndr, The Mad Hatter Posted Feb 28, 2000
I think so too rather, unless it was one of those undergrad pracs where they don't tell you that the theory isn't exactly well known and the non-linear terms are rather great unless you get it spot on.
I am having an interesting evening.

J'au-æmne Posted Feb 28, 2000
It was astronomy... I expect a 50% error anyway... but It is impossible to fit a line through my data. Because the errors for my data are very small, all the data was given, I come to the temporary conclusion that the theory is *very* flawed....
c|_| part 11 (It's very much Monday)
AEndr, The Mad Hatter Posted Feb 28, 2000
what order of line are you tyring to fit - have you tried least squares or a fourier series polynomial fit?
it is wierd - I could be out eating pancakes with a stuffed furry panda, but instead I am gluing cds together.

J'au-æmne Posted Feb 28, 2000
Least sqaures... its just that the data fits the model incredibly badly. I'm going to talk to the demonstrator tomorrow
Ændr, that *is* weird.
Key: Complain about this post
