I am sitting here wondering why I am typing this anyway as no-one is probably gonna read this - I won't when I have finished reading it!!!
I am also wondering, again, why I am bothering as no-one will be able to find this page anyway.

Still, there are worse things I could be doing!

I have found it. You aren't alone. Don't worry, some people must be finding your user page. And by posting on lotsa forums and other people's user pages is a good way of increasing chances of people clicking on yer name and coming to your user page. Don't give up hope yet!

Okay, I have had 2 of my suggested pages rejected now. What do you have to write to get anything "okayed"?

How long did it take for you to get rejections? (I'm still awaiting mine....). I think a miracle has to occur. Two miracles actually: one for the editors to come back from lunch and see your article, another to be accepted. I guess it's also just really getting an article polished and stuff, maybe hunt someone down to edit it. And a miracle.

I tend to go around to people's pages because I want people to find mine, that's why I post in so many forums. I like searching for user pages as well to see if anyone is writing things that I want to write on.
