Hi Mormo!
May I ask what your relation to Haarlem is? I myself was born there, and still call it "home", even though I don't live there anymore.
Anyway, your entry on Haarlem looks COOL!

I study in Haarlem, unfortunately. However it is the only place in the Netherlands where I can do this specific study.
So I have no choice.
By the way... Are U Dutch...
If so you should be able to understand this:
Ik studeer aan de Haarlem Business School en alles wat ik zei in dat stuk is waar. Serieus, we hebben een sloot vol met gefrustreerde papa's kindjes daar. Wacht maar op mijn volgende posting... Dan vertel ik meer.
If you didn't understand this (so you're not dutch) wait for my next posting...

As I stated in my earlier posting, ik ben geboren in Haarlem, so I am a real dutchman, en een echte Haarlemmer bovendien (Let's not use too much dutch here, since this forum is open to everyone )
The Haarlem Business School, where is that exactly? Is it the one somewhere near the Zijlweg? Or where? I've lived in Haarlem for 36 years, but I'm not familiar with all the schools there.
I know that everything you wrote is in fact true. There's absolutely no party-life in Haarlem, no really great bars or other interesting places to go to. But if I may be so bold: that's exactly why *I* like Haarlem.
About the "daddy's boys" that you meet at school: yeah, that's to be expected at such an exclusive school (the only one in Holland where you can do that specific course, as you said yourself, must be quite exclusive indeed), so the majority of the people who get a chance are most likely those who already have too much luck. Rich parents, high expectations, all CEO's-to-be

I have to correct you on the exclusivity of the school, which I'm not going to anymore anyhow, I switched to the HES 3 years ago so I'm afraid my previous posting was a bit incorrect, however the reasons for going there were very correct.
The Haarlem Business School is a public school and open to anyone it just seems that it has this enormous attraction to stuck up students (myself excluded). As soon as I realised this I switched school and added to the problem mentioned in my second article "Haarlem Business School (Small Business)". I'm now very happy do a different course with normal people who do not feel you have to have a Golf GTi, you can just skate to school.
Key: Complain about this post
