Though I must say that my counter has been working fine for a good couple of weeks.
Did you set the type to Guide ML, mate?

First off, do you know where to get a counter from?
http://www.bravenet.com for one like mine.
Fastcounter is very unreliable. Don't even go there.
Copy&paste the html code into the bit where you do all the typing for your homepage. You understand me? Change the type to HTML and voila!
You'll notice that all the text is in one big block. Use to make lines like here:
Thisisnotverynice,havingabigblockofwriting.
This is not very nice,
having a big block
of writing.
That is an example of how it should look on the edit screen (not on your homepage).
If you want Guide ML stuff and HTML, then change the type to GuideML and if needs be change it again to HTML.
