A mate of mine is entering a robot in this years Robot Wars III. He's built a robot with a chainsaw!!! Sounds like fun. I was going down to the filming this week but couldn't make.
It would have been a laugh, shame

As an update he is on TV, BBC2 this friday 17th December he wouldn't tell me how he did though. Can't remember the name of the robot but his name is Darren.

Oh well. RW3 was just on. The robot's name was MaxDamage, and ........
...nothing happened ??? Apparently he forgot to turn the kill switch on. The robot didn't move.
