my dear mike a, or you used to be mike a, what is happening with you? i have been quite busy irl lately and so have not been around h2g2 much at all. when i return i hear strange things about your name changing and such as that. i do not know what is happening and was concerned for you. i wanted to make sure that everything was ok with you. i do not want to hear what happened from other people, i would like to hear what is going on from you so that i know it is the truth and not a game of telephone where by the time the information gets to me it is completely wrong and mixed up.
i enjoyed our chats and would hope that they will continue.

These are terrible times, dear aunt...
About two or three weeks ago, I had a tiff in a party thread, whose host is currently talking to me now about what terrible consequences of what happened there. I was getting abused by people, so I told the main protagonist where to get off.
A day or two later, the PTB, sick of warning me to watch my gob, fired me from subediting and ACEing. Next time I'm gobby, it's a two week suspension. I should count myself lucky...
The frustrating thing is that it's not my fault, but the other people aren't getting punished. And the PTB are constantly ignoring me. This is kinda serious, as they are ignoring me on unfinished sub-editing matters that should have been resolved a month back.
So, I've torn down the past life and renoucned many (but not all) things. A permanent name change. New homepage. I've left two clubs - I must be the first person to do that. Naturally wary of some people and PTB. It's sad....
The homepage is there to explain what's happened through music. The best I can do is provide lyrics. You may or may not have seen the latest update...
I intend to stick around with h2g2, but how commited I can be I cannot say. This is down to real life pressures. I have had a very busy weekend, and have anothef coming up. Plus, I am now starting GCSE coursework. Then comes a five-week holiday. Admittadly, with the end of term approaching I have less homework, so this may counter-balance the problem slightly. But I kannae make promises.

i am terribly sorry to hear this my dear as you know life is not always fair or kind. there are times when you find yourself on the wrong end of a firing squad with nowhere to hide. the good thing that comes from all this is the learning...sounds strange, but by having these experiences, no matter how unfair, you are able to learn more than the ones who are able to skirt themselves under the wire thus avoiding the firing squad.to put it simply, you will find yourself far wiser and more able to handle turbulent experiences than the ones who found a way out or a spot to hide.
i know how very much you enjoyed working with the Aces and Subs. was there any mention of you regaining your positions with these two groups? surely they did not permanently remove you from your duties
please do not become too greatly discouraged by these events. i would hate to see you drifting away as you seem to be one of the few researchers who still regularly associates with me . i do so enjoy the times we are able to chat and would hate to find your chair empty

Although it would be nice not to have to face these events altogether, I guess it's all contributing to make me a better man . Who knows when a similar siruation will occur in future? I'll be ready to deal with it
I'm not sure about regaining these positions. The PTB made nop mention of it, and I'd rightly assume it's out of the question. What's the point of firing somebody only to take 'em on again? I'm not gonna go out of my way to get back in their good books - hey, with no badge I'm not a representative of their regime any more! I'm free!
As for drifting, hmmmm......

you are fully correct dear mike, these events will serve to make you a better man ...the reason for hardships, challanges and set-backs is to teach you disipline, self control, pride and gratitude. without the upsets you would never grow as an individual. it may sound strange but consider yourself lucky to have these turn of events ...
as for never regaining your position, i have seen times when a person was knocked from their spot for a period of time then returned once the lesson was sufficently learned and this may be the case with your being a sub/ace. (that is if this is what you want to occur)
ok, enough of the soap box...tell me sweety, what have you been up to since we last spoke? we do not get enough time to chat anymore...the sunshine seems to of been doing a good job of kidnapping me .

Thanks for the lesson
I've run out of things to write guide entries on, and have no enthusiasm to write more. The last few entries I submitted are becoming approved, I now have 9 to call my own! Soon 2 b 10!
In school I have smashed a window, today we trashed a classroom. There is little homework and no responsibilties! This week is enrichment week, so no work AT ALL! Hence the classroom stuff today *^_^*
