Here's an example of how being a music journalist does strange things to your mind. I woke up a little while ago from a peculiarly vivid dream in which I had been told to go and cover a gardening exhibition.
Why? Because Noel Gallagher was going to be there.
Well, with Oasis' new drug-free image, I guess it COULD happen...

I haven't sat down and listened to it all the way through, but from what I've heard on the radio it's certainly an improvement on "Be Here Now". I wonder, though, whether they'll ever be able to repeat the impact they had when they began.
Then again, perhaps I'm the wrong person to ask. To tell you the truth, I've always found Oasis OK rather than wonderful.
I've just read in the "NME" that PJ Harvey and Radiohead are going to record together. Now THAT I really do want to hear.
