Tatu's version of "How Soon is Now" is pretty darn corking.

Another great example of the mighty fallen: I saw Michael Jackson's last album on offer for £2 in a sale the other day.
'Invincible'? Apparently not...

Michael Jackson is not even remotely cool now. He's not even a trash icon cos he's too creepy. Poor guy. Regardless of whether he does or doesn't sleep with young boys, the suspicion has marred his reputation forever.

Personally, i think the fact that he's recorded some pretty dreadful music over the last ten years might have something to do with his decline in popularity as well.

He has become gradually more self-involved and caught up in himself, and that dries you up creatively. He has a very difficult, secret emotional life, but that never showed in his songs, which are more or less all about some unspecified "baby" or the anguish of being famous. He does not lead a "normal" life by any standards, has very little human contact, I'm not sure he leaves the house all that much. How can you be creative and keep fresh if you isolate yourself like that?
This is the reason, I think, behind his creative bankruptcy. Talent needs to be nourished, or it withers and dies, like everything else. There was more soul in any of Jackson 5's pop ditties than in Michael Jackson's entire works after Bad, no, wait, after Thriller actually.

Does anyone remember Transvision Vamp? No? Thought not...
Well another grasping blonde is having a pop at launching a career using one of Ms. Wendy James' songs. Jennifer Ellison of the declining soap opera 'Brookside' has launched her version of "Baby I Don't Care".
How apt
Career stopwatch has been started

I remember them - or rather, I remember Wendy James's ludicrous pink dress and frosted pink lips in the "I Want Your Love" video.
