h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

It is so good to be able to come home again whenever I like. Home to h2g2 when I'm at home, I mean.

Let me explain.

Just possibly, one or two of you may have noticed that I haven't been around the site as much as usual during the first three weeks of December. The reason is this: about three weeks ago, my modem died. After a week, as soon as I could afford it, I bought a new one. I got it fitted. I downloaded a week's worth of e-mail. And among the e-mail was a message containing a virus...

The outcome of this was that I had to do my h2g2-ing from the training centre where I've been doing a computer course. But thanks to a very talented man who works at the training centre, I've managed to get my compy back in working order just in time for Christmas! It is such a relief - I really have missed being able to hang out here at all hours.

So now I can have a h2g2 Christmas. I am SO happy about that. And I hope that brings you everything you want!
