Long time no speak II

Since you heard from me last... My Dad died (his lungs were mashed potatoes from smoking), my Grandmother died (her brain had been mashed potatoes for about 3 years - aluminium pots and pans?-) I gave up on having a career in television and am now a 'liftie' at a ski resort.
I still think British ales are God's gift to mankind but wool
socks are running a close second.

I'm very sorry to hear about your sad losses. 
Your new career sounds like fun, though - hope it's helping to ease the pain a bit. 
I'm glad you're still enjoying your British 
. I'm still resisting it. That may sound like an awful waste, but it's helping me to feel healthier! 
And I'm not surprised that you appreciate your socks in your new line of work!
