That's good to know I'm living in Portsmouth, England, though, which is flat as a pancake and therefore neither (though pancakes are a good cake substitute...). I miss the hills of my home city...
Are you from Norway? You've been busy in the short time you've been a researcher!

There are some very friendly people here It's the reason I've spent as much time here as I have since becoming a researcher (nearly 3 years ago). Have you found any of the community places yet, like the pub(s) or the Aroma Cafe?

The Cafe (formerly the Aroma Cafe - I'm not sure what's happened to the Aroma bit) is here:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/classic/P202924
where they have a choice of 7 coffees, and I'm sure will be open to suggestions for more.
The Pub (formerly the Forum and Firkin - presently being renamed for copywrite reasons) is here:

The pub used to be a lot busier, and may one day rise in popularity again. In the meantime you can enjoy coffee there, or any other drink you care to ask for, and as there are fewer people the forums are easier to keep track of Mind you, some of the people in there are quite a long way past the wrong side of sober, so some of the conversations are a little bizarre... Menza is the barman, though the whole place is self-service when he's not there.
Key: Complain about this post
