Two days running I've logged on at what is 2 in the morning there to find you on-line. I hope you're not being kept awake by illness of any kind

At 2am here I'm generally asleep in bed smiley - zzz I leave myself logged in at work during the week (with a logout and shutdown of my work machines over the weekend) and with the whose online page open. I guess because the whose online page is querying the server it sees me as logged in. I don't think I've been online in the evening for a while.
I've been given a clean bill of health by the doctor at the clinic (see the journal but I'm sure you've read that already smiley - winkeye) and today the dentist said my teeth were doing fine. Just got to wait for the results of the blood tests (appointment with my GP has been made if the results are sent to him by then of course).
How are things for you at the mo?

Sugar levels slightly, but not dangerously high - probably due to stress from burning candle at both ends and in the middle. Am enjoying rehearsals for panto.
Was glad to see from your journal that things are going well for you. Can you recommend a web reference for suitable exercises? I think part of my "problem" may be lack of same - not covered well in HK, but you obviously do quite a bit to keep fit. I keep reminding myself that my father (from whom I inherited this nuisance) lived to be 94 with rather poor control. Stay well smiley - starsmiley - star

Not sure about anything recomended. I do keep hearing about the 20/30 minutes moderate exercise per day (eg walking). Diabetes UK have some articles on their website (P for physical activity)
http://www.diabetes.org.uk/infocentre/p.htm
They talk about general activity and some specifics (eg an article about swimming and one on walking as well as something about doing activity at altitude).

Hope that helps. Any exercise should help with lowering any insulin resistance and increase glucose uptake and it doesn't have to be going for a bike ride, to the gym or whatever, do the stairs for a couple of floors rather than the lift all the way and so on.
