I bumped into someone on here who reckoned Radiohead (according to Thom
apparently) counted Marillion as one of their influences and I saidit sounded unlikely!! Any ideas??

I heard the same rumour. It cropped up because Marillion covered Fake Plastic Trees on a recent acoustic live album (Unplugged at The Walls).
I think that the quote came from one of the Marillion band members.
