on halloweeen, my town has 60,000 people in the downtown area (about 7 blocks) screaming and running around nude and basically having a good time with themselves. I will be there, youre faithfull reporter of the bizzare, and would appreciate any ideas of bizarre things to do. I will also award to whoever sends me the most bizarre, TRUE story an almost unbearable amount of grituitous mone $1 DOLLER! so send me your weak, your tired... waaaiiit....i mean bizarre, and i will send you the nice, crisp, $1 doller bill. and remember, this is a contest, and i will pick the MOST bizarre story for the huge prize.

2.It MUST be a halloween related storie that happened on halloween or was a consequence of halloween.

Hi there, missed the deadline, and I don't really have a good story, but I will say this: I, too, was in downtown Chico last halloween, and man did I have fun... though i think the weirdest thing that happened to me was the guys that kept hitting on me in my dress and wig (and man was I lookin good, if i do say so myself) and then me shouting satanic verses at the people in the parking lot of 7-11 whom decided that would be a good place to sing hymns for some strange reason. Oh, and the pamphlets being handed out saying that Halloween was the devils birthday and was started by satanic druids (which is a contradiction in terms, something akin to loose tights and jumbo shrimp) who sacrificed their own firstborn children. Which is REALLY off the wall as anyone who knows anything about druids will tell you. Makes me wonder where people come up with this stuff. Anywho, I think that's about it, unless you include regular Chico occurances such as the existance of the Bear, which continues to baffle me. Don't get me wrong, i love the resturant, it just confuses me.

ya, halloween WAS fun...except for the part were my freind decided to badger the christian fellows, which left me minus one freind for the rest of the evening. do you live in chico?

Regrettably no, but i hope to soon. i'll probably get a place around october or november 2000. though, anything that will get me out of Oroville will be an accepted substitute.

yea...i used ot live in oroville, though i hate to admit it. where in oroville do you live? do you go to lp or oroville?
