I just got word that my first entry into the H2G2 database was approved...wow...it feels all tingly...I guess this is what real recognition feels like.
I really should get started on section 2, shouldn't I...

I must say: your first article really looks cool! You seem to understand the dutch transport system quite well.
I would suggest one addition to your section about the Randstad, however. It is called Randstad because the cities actually form a ring around a relatively large agricultural area. The cities represent the edge of the area, as opposed to the more usual setup where an agricultural area surrounds a city.
You might also wish to mention that the dutch are very proud of their multi-lingual nature. Especially in tourist-areas, they tend to speak almost all languages between them. No matter where in the world you come from, when visiting Holland you will nearly always be able to find someone you can really talk to without the need to use hands and feet
On the other hand, most dutch people try to learn as much as they can of the language of any countries they like to visit for their holidays. People who like to go to france, will most likely speak at least SOME french, people who love spain, will certainly speak a bit of spanish and so on
Apart from these minor suggestions, I must say: your article is VERY acurate. BRAVO!
