In a random fit of something-or-other, we decided to drive over to Moscow (Idaho, not Russia) today for supper. While there, we stopped into Wally World and bought various and sundry things needed around the house. Realized on the way out that just about everything we'd purchased was made of plastic, except for some cotton baby blankets, a few candy bars, and a doormat made of recycled tires. I'm sure there's a lesson in there somewhere.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
