As the season wears on, we're getting the dazed and confused contingent of hunters. Yesterday it was a pair of yahoos who thought it was perfectly all right to hunt pheasant in the field directly next to the pasture where we have the horse and sheep. Today it was a kid who came up the canyon and was baffled to not find the rest of his hunting party. He was about six miles away from where he thought he was. Lord knows what he would have done if he'd had a deer to drag all that ways.

I'm wearing blaze orange any time I go far away from the house outdoors.
