Well, all that wind must have taken down some wires somewhere. We just got our power back after a 3-hour blackout. I'm just happy it was that quick; we're towards the end of a very long line of rural power poles. The gal I talked to at the electric company was amazed at my (lack of) attitude. Apparently I was the only person to call today who wasn't hopping mad over the electricity being out. Hey, this is the sticks; if you're not prepared to live without power for a few days, you shouldn't be living here. And when did common courtesy go so completely out of fashion, anyhow?
