I noticed what you did with your researcher number to get 42:

1x7x7+1+8-8-8 = 42 right?

Well I just tried the same thing with my number and got this:

1x6x7+1+3-2-2 = 42!

Now pay particular attention to the sequence of mathematical symbols in both sums (sorry to sound so analytical):

x, x, +, +, -, -!

Kinda spooky, no?

I think there is something to be said for numerology. A good balance of logic and the unexplained are what makes life interesting.

Don't worry about not having researched anything yet. It took me over a month to write about something that I liked and had information on. I just enjoyed the interaction and playing the games.
