A long time and no journal post, so here goes.

Executive summar re: Football ground: Portsmouth continuing to defy gravity in the Premiership. Talk of European football (in this decrepid cowshed??) next year. Talk of building the new stadium 500 yards from my shop (Bugger, there goes the travel expenses!).

Things not football: A new IBM Model M keyboard arrived today. Well, I say 'new', but there is of course no such thing. This one was built in 1990. It's quite young by IBM standards. I have a younder sibling (A lexmark-made Model M) from 1994 and an older IBM UK version, built in 1987. If you have never used an IBM Model M keyboard, you probably don't know what the fuss is all about (or where the typing noise is coming from, because they are probably THE loudest computer keyboard ever made)

More things not football: I finally got my domains back from the abyss that was the demise of Fast24.net today. My UK domains were sorted out fairly quickly because Nominet UK keep the same hours as me, but trying to get any sense out of BulkRegister/eNom is not fun, especially when they are in Vancouver, which turns out to be in Washington state, USA, and not in Canada where it presumably had been until recently.

Anyway, transfers done and dusted. DNS created, and I am receiving email again. Hopefully the spammers will have had enough bounces to remove me from their lists. (Yeah, like that will happen..)
