An easy game to settle, as the pressure to increase the league record for not conceding a goal at the start of the season took it's toll. For what it's worth, Bolton to win was 11/4, 1-0 was 8/1, Nobody had Nolan to score first so I can't remember the odds, and Bolton H/T and F/T was 11/2.

Any customers with winning bets placed at the ground may have had some difficulty collecting their bets. Unfortunately the law requires us to close at 10pm sharp. To pay bets after this time is an offence, for which we (not the company) are answerable*. However, we'll be back in time for the next match, and you can collect your winnings from ANY shop in the UK, all of which are open until 6:30pm Mon-Sat or 6pm Sunday.

Having seen the match on TV afterwards, I am somewhat surprised that Portsmouth didn't win. I think that they will play worse, and win matches.

Anyway, the first defeat, the first home defeat, and only seven bets with any sort of return, most of which were voids. A good result for ladbrokes, but not a good result for the club and the fans.

Next up is West Ham, back at 3pm on Saturday, on October 14th.

*This is how the law works. If I serve someone under 18, it is not the company that gets prosecuted, it's me. Persons under 18 complaining, when I ask for proof of age, need to understand that I *do* have something to lose, which is why I am protecting myself by asking for your proof of age. In my experience, anyone who protests at being ask to prove that they are over 18 is NOT OVER 18. Simple, really.
