First Sunday Racing in the UK for the year.
Shop totally devoid of customers. As the second in
command of an arcturan mega-freighter would say,
"I've had three buttons to press in the past six
light years, and that was just to put the coffee
machine onto manual"*. Took a whole 24 bets, paid
out 34 mainly from yesterday.
*This assumes that you have a coffee machine, which
we dont, and coffee, which we ran out of too. We
ended up sharing the last teabag, because nothing else
in the precinct is open, so we couldn't get any more.
Reduced to customer coffee (yeuch) with plastic milk
and softmints.
