You may remember me from the Denver get-together, apparently my belt is still a conversation piece.

I just thought I'd let you know I'm on H2G2. I'm not usually online much, but with Phoenix here, I won't have the excuse of the broken computer anymore.

Good luck on the house hunt... I know how hard that is. I think the most important thing to do (after you've found the house you want) is to get a good house inspector. The seller has to let you get an inspection, and even though it can cost you extra, it is worth it. You probably already know about this, especially if you've bought a house before, but I didn't pay enough attention to the post-inspection repairs that were done, and I'm still paying for it.

I'm glad to see you here. Its always nice to have more Coloradans around.

This is actually the first house that we will buy, so any advice that you might have is wonderful. One of the guys here at work just bought a huse and was very happy with his inspector, so I think that we'll probably ask his guy to take a look - when we find a place, of course.

We're actually getting fed up with our Realtor and the houses she's taking us to look at, so we're looking into new construction. Fortunately, places seem to be popping up like dandelions up here, so we should be able to find something.
