Isn't that a period bathing suit then? (as in 'the correct time period', the alternative might work too, with that much fabric).

The tricky bit wih painting waterfalls is that they never hold still. Evry time you paint the water, there's different water when you finish.

The thing to do with waterfalls is to take a photo with a longer exposure.

I know. Painting is usually considered extremely long exposure anyway.

What I also sometimes like to do is blow up a small stream into a mighty waterfall, using the smallest aperture size at close range, while also keeping the (preferably Alpine) background in view. If I can find one of those I'll send it.
