h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Not a fan of racing, or the thrills and spills genre,but taking your bike over the mountain is great fun!

Hope this game doesn't dwell on the crashes or discourage anyone from enjoying the chance to experience the pleasure of being on two wheels. (I'll have to 'borrow'my son's console and give it a go, see how it compares to Mad Sunday!)

I thought you might have been round the course yourself I went round in a car but even that was an experience! I played the Playstation 2 game in the Island's museum so I was pleased to be able to get this version for the Switch

I'll think about how to say a bit more about the crashes - the game doesn't dwell on them too much, as the 'respawn' happens quickly, but it does provide a reminder that people should respect the course. I'll say a bit more about the handling of the bikes, too - its not 100% realistic, but critics find it pretty good I certainly enjoy the vicarious experience of being on two wheels during the game - the detail of the bikes and riders is good, and the sound effects are excellent
