Here's a little Entry about another TV show that I enjoy watching

This told me all I wanted to know, and nothing I didn't, so I think it's a win!

I liked the way you used the 'Hitchhiker's Guide' as a reference to explain the questions.

I have one hesitant request: could you footnote 'Mark 'The Beast' Labbett'? I have no idea who that is, so others might be in a similar state of ignorance.

Yes, I hoped that would work well to give an example of the types of question and connect it to h2g2, too!

I have rewritten the bit about Mark Labbett so hopefully that makes more sense now

This entry is just right, I agree. I love the programme and am so pleased that it is now uploaded to Youtube - often within an hour of airing on a Monday evening, so I can watch it as if I was in the UK, almost!

You might like to mention the "low-budget" feel of the show:

1. There's no audience
2. There are no money prizes - what is the prize, anyway?
3. The only people on screen are the six contestants and the presenter

I've only one suggestion to do with your use of words:

"the home of intellectual quizzes such as University Challenge and Mastermind amongst other programmes"

-- Since you've said "such as", you don't need to add "amongst other programmes".

Do you know the name of the signature tune?

And, talking of music, it's also probably worth mentioning Victoria's funny attitude to the music question, (She always raises her eyebrows and goes "Ooh", when that "dong" noise sounds) and the fact that she sometimes gets the contestants to sing the answer, or all join in a chorus of something relating to the answer.

It seems the signature tune is just called Only Connect Theme so I didn't mention that - it is a very pleasing tune, though, as it is much more jolly than Mastermind's 'Approaching Menace'

I spotted a couple of typos, so I have fixed them.

I love this! What I like is the subheadings (are you going to mention that some people say "horn'ed viper"?) are the hieroglyphs and I especially like working Hitchhiker's into the entry to demonstrate the clues.

I can't wait to see this on the front page (give me a nudge when it does) because I have Things To Say (about the programme)
