This is a fascinating detective story! Well spotted to find that sheet amongst the other sheet music and realise there was more to it than there would seem at first glance

It is good that the image is already applied, but I also like how you quote the text about 'Parson Jack' to be clear. I wonder if there is a way you can say a little more about 'shape notes' too - from the distance I sit from the computer I couldn't immediately tell there was something different about the black blobs, but when I zoomed in using CTRL+ I could see the triangles! Similarly I wondered what "could 'James A Adkins' be a reference to Chet's half-brother Jim" meant at first, but then I zoomed in and see it is written in the top right corner of the image.

Thanks for the suggestions, Sasha. I'll see about clearing up the Adkins reference and trying to make shape notes more comprehensible.
