"As dark and gritty as Batman (1966-8) was camp and colourful" - superb phrase
Neatly sums up why I couldn't get into 'Gotham' - the Adam West Batman is more to my taste but I have seen a few of the films. This Entry is much appreciated, to explain what 'Gotham' is all about as part of the Batman canon
"The least relaxing part of Gotham is either Blackgate Penitentiary or Arkham Asylum"
That is impressive how the time periods were blended together to create a timeless quality
Excellent - thank you

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
