Yay! Thank you - I’ve not seen any of these so I appreciate the summary.
Good opening section, to set the scene. The last sentence just needs eg mention that the dark side would catch up with him by the end of the decade, to signpost the reader to the end of the Entry.
I like the band puns in Zootropolis
Gramma tells the legend with help from ?
The word ‘frigid’ is a slur that doesn’t sound like it is intended... Would ‘asexual’ or ‘aromantic’ be what is needed? (no sexual/romantic attraction to other people)
I like the Fifth Element reference
Strong ending - sets the scene for the next instalment

Thanks – I've made changes as suggested. I had wondered whether the illustrated pictures that Gramma has are a specific art form and, if so, whether it has a technical term I should use. If so, I've not been able to find it so changed it to be simply 'with help from illustrations' but if I find out that there is a specific word to describe it, I'll change it later.
No slur was intended for Elsa - my dictionary has seven definitions for 'frigid': 'frozen or stiffened with cold; cold; stiff movement; unanimated; stiff or formal in behaviour or style; without spirit or affection, sexual unresponsive; frigidarium, cold pool in Roman baths'. Elsa is a character who is indeed Frozen – that's what they call the films she is in - cold, formal, she often holds herself stiffly with minimal movement in a controlled manner and she showed no affection for her younger sister for a large number of years (though I can't say she isn't animated as she is indeed an animated character). Only a seventh of the meanings for 'frigid' can possibly be conceived as a slur, but you’re right to say that's the one people will jump for, so I changed that too.

"to have made more than $1 billion at the box office have been made" - the repetition of "have" and "made" here is slightly confusing, particularly since you are using two different meanings of "made". You could say:
Seven of the first ten animated films to have taken in more than $1 billion at the box office were made with his involvement
I also suggest splitting the sentence into two after "involvement".
whether these films pass the The Bechdel Test. -- remove the second "The".
My comments about your description of the Bechdel Test apply to this entry as well.
After blackmailing the last person known to have seen him, con artist fox Nick Wilde, into helping her
-- this would read better if you put it the other way around:
After blackmailing con artist fox Nick Wilde, the last person known to have seen him, into helping her
including musicians The Beagles (The Beatles), Ewe 2 (U2), Fleetwood Yak (Fleetwood Mac), Gun 'N' Rodents (Guns 'n' Roses), Mick Jaguar (Mick Jagger), Mousy's Department store,
This list makes it look as if Mousy's Department Store is a band reference. You need some way to break up the flow. You could use your favourite "as well as":
including musicians The Beagles (The Beatles), Ewe 2 (U2), Fleetwood Yak (Fleetwood Mac), Gun 'N' Rodents (Guns 'n' Roses) and Mick Jaguar (Mick Jagger), as well as Mousy's Department store,
It was the second most-successful --> It was the second most successful
it was the fifth most-successful --> it was the fifth most successful
The film is predominantly CGI, however Maui's tattoos are hand drawn. -->
The film is predominantly CGI, but Maui's tattoos are hand-drawn.
Characters inside an arcade are sentient.
-- I'd say "Characters inside the games of an amusement arcade" because there are other sorts of arcades and you can be in an arcade without being in the game.
his best friend Vanellope's game's steering wheel -- clumsy. Try:

neither descended from or married to royalty -->

Many of the original Disney princesses returned to play their characters, except for the first three princesses. -- this took my a while to figure out what you meant. I presume you mean that the voice actors for many of the original Disney princesses returned to play their characters. Also presumably, the actors who did the first three princesses are no longer with us.
Sisters Queen Elsa and Princess Anna -- lowercase s on sisters
Arendelle, fictional Scandinavian mediæ val kingdom, and neighbouring enchanted forest Northuldra, three years later.
-- do you mean that the scenes in the forest happen three years after the scenes in Arendelle? Or do you mean the whole thing is three years after "Frozen"?
Elsa & Anna's Grandfather -- lowercase g on grandfather
Hans Christian Anderson --> Hans Christian Andersen
There are numerous cameos, from snow models of Dumbo and Baymax as well as references to Queen's 'Bohemian Rhapsody'.
-- I'm not sure what you intend here. I don't know who or what Baymax is, and a reference to Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody isn't a cameo.
live-action remake of The Lion King. -- do you mean the CGI animated remake of The Lion King?
One of the terms of merger --> One of the terms of the merger
In late 2017, following the denouncement of Harvey Weinstein as a sexual predator led to the #MeToo movement encouraged exposing other offenders, John Lasseter admitted sexual misconduct4
-- this doesn't make sense as a sentence. I'd reword it as two sentences.
In 2017, the denouncement of Harvey Weinstein as a sexual predator led to the #MeToo movement, encouraging women to expose other offenders. Later in the year, John Lasseter admitted sexual misconduct.

It's the end of the day and I wanna go home now, so I'll say that I've made changes as suggested except I'll add more about live-action remakes tomorrow to explain that technically 'animated' is a very specific term and relates to how a film is made, not how it appears.
You could have two films that look visually identical with CGI characters that you cannot tell apart and still have one animated and one live action. The CGI remake of 'The Lion King' by using actors against a blue screen is classed as 'live action' and not 'animation', even though the characters are animated. See:

I've added a bit more than I'd originally intended as a reader could legitimately expect to read a full review of the recent 'Lion King' and wonder why it isn't listed here.

This is looking good. Just a couple of questions I had when I read through:
"official Disney Classic sequel1, although sequels had been made by Disney's other animation studios, DisneyToon Studios and Pixar."
Pixar made sequels to Disney Classics?
"They remember their parents telling them when they were children how when their father visited when he was a child. " - 'how their father visited'?
"This pretty much sums up Disney's view of the universe." -

Watched Moana again recently so I spotted a few things.
Gramma tells the legend of Moana with help from illustrations -- that should be 'the legend of Maui'.
she defies her culture to go on a journey -- the word 'voyage' would be better than 'journey' since she goes in a boat
I don't know if you want to include the following:
Jemaine Clement, who played Tamatoa the Giant Crab, is famous for his impressions of glam rock star David Bowie. Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote the song 'Shiny' with this in mind as a tribute to Bowie. Miranda recorded a demo of the song which he sent to Clement as a guide to how the song should be performed. Clement said about the demo, 'you can tell that he’s doing an impression of my impression of David Bowie.'

Thanks for your comments, a couple of minor tweaks have been made including the added addition of a to clarify the sequels.
Would you like an 'Additional Research By' credit for that contribution, Gnomon?
