The author does not list any of the great Brit vs Japan movies such as 'The long and the short and the tall' or 'A town like Alice'. Surely these and probably others deserve a mention ? Of course 'Bridge on the River Kwai' is in there but it gives a rather limited view of the war against Japan.

Hello Henrey - thanks for reading this through. You're right, a whole theatre of war is rather neglected. If you feel that you would like to retify this and write an analysis of British War Films set in the Pacific, then that would be an excellent idea and I would be happy to guide you with any questions you may have on how to do so.
