Re-washing the items from the airing cupboard/asbestos fiasco seems to have done the trick. The 'chemical' smell is now replaced by a more delicate fresh softner smell. It looks as though my hootoo 'T' shirt has survived the ordeal so all is well again.smiley - spacesmiley - biggrin
I've not done much today other than play on the pc in between watching some classic comedies on TV. I'm currently watching Series 2 of Open All Hours starring Ronnie Barker and David Jason. I have the full box set including the pilot episode and it really is a gem of a collection. As funny today as when it first aired in the late 70's, early 80's.smiley - spacesmiley - laugh
If there's nowt else on TV later, (which having had a quick look doesn't appear to be owt on worth watching) I may watch Series 3 and 4 as well.smiley - spacesmiley - biggrin
Right, time for some fodder then settle down with me feet up again.
Hope everyone has had a good day, ttfn. smiley - spacesmiley - towel

You can call me TC

70s sitcom and a nice cuppa tea. And all that surrounded by a nice clean smell. Bliss.

Deb

I love settling down with a good box set. I have some old camodies - The Good Life & To The Manor Born - and I think they stand the test of time.

Deb smiley - cheerup
