I would like to apologize to the Indian subcontinent,
to Chile and to Mexico.
I have encountered a couple very rude Indians and Chileans for some reason and on them noticing I was an American it set them off worse.
I didn't do anything to their countries and they can bugger off with insisting that all the people of a nation are the same thing as its gov't. If their argument is with US politics then they ought to take it up with some politicians.
I like those countries, and I like the people in them. Not going to let my opinions of whole places get colored by a few bad apples because then I'd be being no better than those detractors of which I'd spoken.
Ill-mannered is no excuse. You gotta keep in mind that when you're in International forums you really don't know who it is that you think it is that you're insulting.
And that you actually kind of represent all people from your country to people who haven't been there... which is why I myself try and watch my mouth even in political forums.
Just got to work on letting provocations roll off my back like oil... water off a duck? *perplexed* mixed metaphors going. Blast it.

Thanks.
I tried to give another antimarketing lesson but had no idea one of my neighbors decided to use his chainsaw that day so partway through it cuts into what I'm saying...
