Well one of us has too . There must be some disadvantages to being that close to a World Tourist attraction, does'nt she get swamped by japanese tourists every time she wants to go up on deck there must be crowds along the embankment, or is it a private stretch?

Not found them yet.... Incurable Romantic....
Strangely calm. The tourists either float past on the Bateaux Mouches or walk up above the key on the footpaths about 15 feet above the moorings. Yes they look down and smile and wave but it but she seems to eat out on the deck most nights so it can't be that initimidating.

So are you roaming around the old stones there or is there a friend with a Yurt who has offered to put you up for the night?
We're would be travellers sometime and we'd love to get about more than our current life allows.

Ooops, dropped off the planet for a while. Actually all this travelling is exhausting and time consuming, you may not really like it when you get it....... (Just joking honest!)
Stayed with lovely friends and for the return journey drove down the A5 over Snowdonia. Not the same as walking it but sooooo much better than the M6!!!!!

Through the Ogwen Valley, we know it quite well. Bethesda is a bit dark and spooky though, some strange folk in those parts. The Carneddi and the Glyder are breath taking, and Llyn Ogwen is beautiful. We're going there next summer hopefully, for the walking and the Ravens.
